Strength & Mobility : 3-wk series
An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until 25 February 2022
With a foundation in Forrest Yoga, this class integrates mobility work to improve overall functioning, flexibility and strength of your body, and especially the key joints. Specifically, mobility exercises looks at improving the health & range of motion for the main joints in your body. This is typically done either with various props or using your own body weight to build resistance and muscle tone, in both static and dynamic positions.
The combination of strength & mobility practices allows you to better understand potential habitual movements that can cause chronic pain & injuries. Great for people with tension in the neck & shoulders, lower back and hips. This is a 3-week series that aims to build a proper foundation in how we move, walk and sit.
Week 1 : Hands & feet
Week 2: Hips & lower back
Week 3 : Shoulders & spine
